Assertion

An assertion refers to a user making a clear judgment on the outcome of a prediction topic and staking funds to support a specific result.

On BitX, once a prediction topic ends, the topic creator has a 24-hour priority window to make an assertion. If no assertion is made within this period, the right to assert will be passed to other users in the market.

How to Assert

1. Go to the detail page of the topic you want to assert and click “Assert.”

1. Review the required margin and the reward pool. Once you’ve confirmed your choice, you can click on "Assert" to submit your assertion.

1. After a successful submission, you can view the assertion details on the page.
